Dean Burnett

Dean started writing songs and poetry from about the age of ten. As he grew he got into music and started of on the guitar. After a brief spell he discovered the wonders of Synthersizers and bought his first monophonic synth in the early 80's. Since then Dean has writtern and co writtern hundereds of songs and been involved in bands such as Japanese Whispers and The Tower/Redshift. These bands are having their music re-released at present with singles from Dean,The Tower and Japanese Whispers all out on download stores.

After The dissapointment of The Tower/Redshift finally splitting up on the brink of a recording contract Dean left the music scene for a while until  someone suggested setting up the Tower Website. With that, Dean began to get his interest back in writing again and a chance meeting and conversation from a myspace friend who used to watch the Tower, started a new writing team under the name of Weathered Wall. After buying lots of home studio equipment and software, synths, mikes etc and a few meetings with the new partner Simon, Dean started work on the teams first album. The History of Graffiti is Weathered Walls first album by Dean and Simon and includes other artists here and there like Julia from Bosnia, Nikola from Bosnia, and Milo B from England. Currently the boys are working on their Third album as well as radio promotions and their verious sites

Simon Watson

Simon Watson is The other Half of Weathered Wall:' I started playing organ at the age of 8 and after a few years of why am I doing this, Dad brought me The Human League album Dare and that was it. I was hooked on synths. My first synth was a Korg Poly61 and a TR707 Drum Machine.  I then teamed up with friend, Jason and formed Special Fx. We did 2 songs, Hard Time(Human League Cover) and a song called Sugar and Spice. After realising it wasn't going anywhere, we called it a day. At that time I was going out every spare night to see a local Norwich band, The Tower and loving the sound and energy at the gigs. I carried on working, writing songs by myself. Future being one of them in 1988. Quite strange that Dean and I knew each other in the Tower days but never really enfused like we do now. After The Tower split up I sold all my bits and just became a listerner of synth music. In 1999 I decided to get back into music and started to buy keyboards and got a pc too, so I could start recording again. Once again I fell in love with all types of synth and dance/trance music. After myspace started I started with Room46, in memory of a close friend. I recorded future and came up with machines. I then came across Vista, a local synth pop band who I joined and started giging and working with. After leaving Vista I started talking with Dean, who had recently launched The Tower website and got back into music himself. After a while our talking developed into Weathered Wall, and here we are.
I would like to thank the following for making it all happen:

Dad for the music that got me here..
Dean for putting up with my 'I can't get the thing to work '.....and kicking my ass.
Milo B for the lessons of how to get the thing to record and mix!
Roger from Vista for software and ear bendings....
Tracey for being the best there is...
Jon for photo's and video
  Thanks to everyone so far.
